Our therapists see adults in individual psychotherapy. You might come to us to discuss marital problems, issues of feeling alone, frustration in dealing with one of your children. You may have experienced a trauma, death in the family or just do not feel as happy as you think you should be. Medical illness may be a stressor for you and the family. All these issues, and so much more, have been shown by research to be helped by psychotherapy. There is an infinite number of issues that can be raised in therapy. The goal of the therapy is to help you achieve your own goals and feel free of issues by which you feel encumbered.
In addition to Dr. John Gray’s school of thought, our therapists will employ elements from a range of therapeutic techniques and leaders in the field of counseling, with the goal of establishing a course that is personally tailored to you and your specific needs.
We will focus on a variety of issues that you may be experiencing, such as trust issues, unresolved problems with children, infidelity, uncontrollable rage and anger and sexual issues. You will learn what your needs are, as well as your partner’s, and how to meet them. We emphasize the importance of understanding multiple perspectives when dealing with two or more connected individuals. Our goal is to help you and your partner regain the trust and intimacy for a lasting, happy relationship.
